Flexible seating will give my students the opportunity to choose from a variety of seating options in the classroom. The most important time in the classroom is when students are learning. My students will be learning in an environment they can feel comfortable in and suited to each individual student. Learning in an environment that offers my students options to choose from increases the desire and ability to effectively learn what is being taught to them. When students have options to choose from, they are more susceptible to mastering the skills they are being taught. Flexible seating encourages students to find a spot they can stay calm, focused, and productive. My students have so much to learn in Kindergarten that I want them to have the best learning environment they can have.
