Thanks to your generous contributions; my classes will be able to create Gustav Klimt inspired paintings, utilizing oil pastels, and watercolor paints. Any extra materials will be utilized in extending this project to the younger grades K-5 that I also work with. To complete the project, as well as incorporate writing; students will include two Haiku poems to go with their art. Through this project exploring oil pastels and watercolor paints, my students will develop and reinforce these skills I have discussed above. These tools will be incorporated into other core classes, such as writing, science, and mathematics. Please help give our students a chance to create, learn, and explore!
