We know that students learn in a different ways, but yet when you walk into most classrooms students are seated the very same way. Desks and chairs have been around for a very long time, but is that the best seating choice for all kids. Why not give students a choice in what type of seat they use throughout the day? I know I have a hard time sitting in a chair for an extended period of time and so do many of my children. The funding of this project would give my students a variety of seat choices including stools, wobble chairs, stability cushions, and pillows to use instead of traditional chairs.
