My students would greatly benefit from using iPads in the classroom. I went to a two-week elementary school science workshop this summer at CSULB, and I was excited about the use of iPads for students to explain their thinking. The app that I really want to use is Explain Everything. I actually went out and bought one iPad for my class to get started and to share. Students use the iPad to record the process of their scientific investigations and to explain and model their understandings about scientific concepts. The most amazing part of this app is that students can annotate, record their voice, record video, take photos... all at the same time and publish it in a presentation. Apart from science, the students will be using it for Literature Circle documentation and probably in every subject area.
