My students want to be teachers when they graduate college. This class is designed to give them a look into the day to day activities of being a teacher. During their 4 years of high school, they will have written lesson plans, graded papers, taught lessons, created bulletin boards, and many more jobs a teacher does daily. My students need bulletin boards to be able to practice putting together positive, encouraging, and eye catching displays. My students will also have the opportunity to join a student organization called TAFE. In this student organization, they will compete with other high school students who want to be future educators. One of the competitions is in the art of creating bulletin boards. I would love for my students to be able to experience this part of teaching.
