Most of my students do not get to experience even half of the things they read about. Prior knowledge and experiences are sometimes hard for them to understand since they have not been exposed to many things in the real world. I see little minds activate when my kiddos read. They fascinate me each day with their curiosity and hunger for more knowledge. My goal for this project is for my students to have the opportunity to learn and be intrigued by reading whenever they pick up a book. New additions to my classroom library will benefit these growing minds in more ways than you can imagine.
