My students are eager learners that come to school ready to learn new materials. Having flexible seating options will help them concentrate on the materials taught while catering to their fidgety ways without hindering their focus. I have found that students get tired of sitting in their chairs and rather sit on the floor or even on some pillows I have for them. By helping with bouncy balls, or fidget-bands, students are given options to sit comfortably while learning. I would like to have a wide array of options for flexible seating to cater to their individual needs. I have found that all students (not just those with ADHD or behavior problems) benefit from flexibility within the classroom. My goal is to provide students with options to feel happy, safe, and comfortable while learning, and through Donorschoose I hope to accomplish this. Thank you!
