One area my students struggle in is reading comprehension in science. These magazine subscriptions to Science World and SuperScience will not only help my students strengthen their reading comprehension skills, but it will also give them an opportunity to make real-world connections in science and engineering. How awesome would it be for my students to use science news stories to make connections in biology, physics, chemistry, earth science, and engineering. Not only are the articles educational, but they're also interesting and relatable to the students. I have no doubt that these magazines would be a wonderful resource to help keep my students engaged and excited about science.

About my class
