My students need the opportunity to have real-world, hands-on learning experiences. Learning about the life cycles of plants is an important part of our kindergarten science curriculum. Planting the seeds and watching them grow will give my students relevant lessons to enrich their learning. My students will be able to use scientific inquiry to learn about the life cycles of plants. My students will record their observations in their science journals using both drawings and sentences using sentence frames. My students will also be reading and discussing books about plants with our reading curriculum.
