This year I will be taking on a new role as a Second Grade Math & Science Teacher at Riverview Elementary in Hamilton, Ohio. Our student population at Riverview is very diverse with students from many different countries and backgrounds! My classroom will consist of about 25 students. Nearly all of my students come from low-income, poverty stricken homes. Oftentimes, they lack the basic necessities needed to be successful in school. It is my job to make sure that they get the best education possible, regardless of their socio-economic status.
