The different seating will give my class a change in classroom community. It will feel more like a home than a classroom. Since my students do not have the best atmosphere at home, they can come to school knowing they have a home at our elementary. The stools will give my students a different choice in seating. They can choose to stand or they can sit higher in the stools. They also will use the wobble stools to keep their concentration on their education. Having the different storage areas will create a sense of responsibility. The students will be in charge of their own supplies which will create ownership of their classroom. Students can use their new supplies to be able to deal with their attention spans. Coming back from summer, their attention spans will be shorter and disengaged. Having these different seating options will create more interest as well as coping with their struggles in the classroom.
