Our day in third grade consists of whole group instruction, followed by small group practice. Students rotate through different sessions around the room practicing and perfecting their understanding of ELA and math concepts. Students are able to choose areas to work, paying close attention to where they will be most comfortable and productive. Having the ability to choose workspaces and seating other than the students' own desks will improve student focus and productivity. When students are able to make a decision that is best for them based on comfort and focus, their stamina for learning increases. Including the Back Jack Floor Chairs and lap desks will add more options for the students to choose from.
