In my classroom I have over 8 different languages with students from over 10 different countries. Teaching them English can be difficult when you can't speak their home language. By using IPads students are able to use the apps to help them learn the the English alphabet, basic English words, or for the more advanced they can begin putting together sentences and building their own personal stories. The iPads allow for each student to have individualized learning based on their own personal growth. Students love using technology to learn and it offers individualized learning for each student! Each student can utilize the iPad for their own differentiated learning. As a teacher I can set up specific apps that will allow me to monitor their growth and individualize their learning!
