My students love learning to program and code using apps on the iPad. I would like to take their coding experiences to the next level by getting a Cubetto robot. Coding a robot to move in the direction or place you want it to go deepens their problem solving skills, teaches life skills of persevering, and computational thinking. Students will use Cubetto and coding in all content areas. In writing, my students will write a fiction story about a journey that Cubetto takes. They will create a coding mat to go with their story. Other classmates will read the stories and code Cubetto. The possibilities of learning to code a robot in my 21st century classroom are endless.
