Reading is essential in all aspects of learning. Not only should students be encouraged to finding something they love to read, but also learn a life lesson while reading. The novel Wonder teaches students to believe in themselves and to not judge others just by their looks. Students can relate to this in so many ways. By reading this novel I hope to diminish bullying and inspire them to help each other. Students will be able to read the novel at school and discuss with one another how they might have felt like the boy in the book. It is a great way for students to express feelings they may not have been able to express before.

About my class
