Being in Kindergarten can be scary! During the school year, I try very hard to give the students authentic time to build relationships with each other, and me! The Sunny Day Oval Carpet will help us because it will be a designated space to have our morning, afternoon, and closing meetings. Each student will be able to see each other while they are talking, which will build friendships and respect between them. Also, this carpet comes with both numbers and letters on it, which will increase my student's knowledge of these basic concepts through all day exposure! They can also choose to play on this rug during our Worktime portion of the day, in which they get to choose how to learn. We practice letters and numbers in Kindergarten any chance we get!
