Our class is part of a Dual Language program as well as part of an AVID school. We utilize AVID strategies for instruction and classroom organization. As a Title I school, it is often difficult for all of our students to get the materials that we need to help them learn organizational skills. It is important for all students to have binders, dividers, pens and pencil pouches. In first grade we are teaching students how to organize their supplies, we begin note-taking and students take binders to and from school everyday so that they have everything that they need to complete their homework. Please help me to provide these basic school supplies to my class so we can set them up for success.
