I am a first grade teacher at a wonderful public school! I have twenty-two students; ten boys and twelve girls. My students are very active and love to learn in many different ways. We learn in a flexible classroom, which means that my students have options of where they want to learn each day. There is NO assigned seating chart. We have things like bouncy bands, stability balls, wobble stools, pillows, lap desks, clipboards, office chairs, etc... Some of the different ways we learn in our classroom are through hands-on projects, technology, singing, playing, talking, reading, writing, and experimenting. I am so excited that you all get to learn more about our classroom and all of the wonderful things that happen there each day. I am very grateful for all of the materials that we have in our classroom. I love our classroom, but the thing I love the most about it, is who I share it with. I am one lucky teacher!
