As already mentioned, these books will allow our classroom library to grow. Classroom libraries at our school is the only place where our students can have access to books. I want my students to be reading beyond my classroom walls by encouraging recreational reading. Books should be easily-accessible for all. Through this project I will be able to nurture the love for reading some of my students already have, and for others, this will allow them to have options when it comes to choosing a book to read. These books will help my students grow and thrive as students of color.

About my class
