Students will see the value in learning about sustainability and gardening in this project. High school students will lead a club of elementary and middle school students on the benefits of using land to grow healthy sustainable food. Working together and inviting families and community leaders to show what students have learned and accomplished will be emphasized, and community sales of produce, for donations, as well as use of foods in classroom projects will be spectacular. Raised garden beds and a variety of seeds and soils will allow students of all ages to experience authentic learning in health and science.
