Students will be using the literacy and math take home bags to reinforce the skills that they are learning at school. Many of the students do not have the materials and resources that they need to be able to practice on their own. The literacy and math take home bags will allow the parents to interact with their child on a personal level. It also gives parents an insight view on what their child is learning in the classroom and ideas on how to work with them. Giving children the opportunity to practice and learn these skills at home will help them to be more successful. Many of the students in my classroom are ELL and therefore, the English and Spanish version of these items will help immensely. The students that I teach are so eager to learn and grow and these items will help them do that along with the support of their parents and siblings at home.
