This school year I have implemented some minor changes on how my students were seated. This year, they were given free choice on where to sit each morning. The flexible seating has taken off and my students have been more productive and successful in their learning. By providing different styles of tables and different types of seats, my students love the free choice. Of all their choices, they have asked for floor seats and a low table. I have tried to take off the legs of one of my tables, but it was still too tall to be functionable while seated on the floor. I have requested a floor table with floor seats. I know my students will be thrilled to have another option in their flexible seating choices and will continue to flourish in their educational learning.
