Having access to the Scholastic Scope Magazine in my classroom will help my students engage in challenging content as well as improve their academic skills. The magazine includes nonfiction, dramas, debates, videos, and more that is not available in a textbook that is over 10 years old. As a teacher, I am building critical thinkers, powerful readers and effective writers. Scholastic Scope Magazine helps me to provide additional resources for my students to meet the rigorous requirements of my classroom. With the additional printed and digital resources that are available with Scholastic Scope Magazine, I will be able to reach all of my students on their level to help them be successful in 8th grade.
