These materials will make a tremendous difference in the lives of my students. Having these sets of books for students to read and explore in groups, will not only enhance their reading skills and abilities, but they will be able to discuss the big ideas from the books with partners. Being able to discuss literature with others will enhance students' communication skills and English proficiency. The materials requested will encourage student learning across subject areas and support integration throughout the academic content areas. The social studies materials, such as the U.S activity rug, will enormously enhance student exposure to the geography of the United States, a major unit in third grade.

About my class
