By providing flexible seating options in our classroom, I know my students will be successful learners. Using these materials in our classroom will allow students to try different seating options and learn about themselves as workers. They will be able to see what helps them to learn best. This is powerful knowledge that hopefully they will be able to take with them into their future learning and working careers. Being "wiggly" is not a bad thing and should not be stifled. Let students learn in whatever way helps them be successful. I have yet to see a successful business functioning with all of its employees sitting at school desks for 8 hours!
