Children use technology daily and it engages their minds like no other tool has before. Having access to technology, with tablets, in the classroom will make them better readers, mathematicians, and more prepared to be successful in our society as it is today. Most of my students do not have access to technology at home and so this is a wonderful way to teach them how to use it and to get them to be the citizens they need to be now and in the future. I know how important it is to create good citizens and compassionate people with a true desire to help the world around them as well as themselves. Every opportunity I can give them to become who they were created to be is what I will work to do.
