It's tough being a Kindergartener in a Title 1 school that lacks resources.. There is only one document camera in our entire building. Imagine that! Using a document camera will help my students see things up close and personal. Everything from pumpkin seeds, to math manipulatives can be used under the document camera to help them make crucial learning connections. Teaching them how to tract words while reading as well as identifying the parts of speech and sentence structure can all be addressed more adequately with the use of a document camera. Plus, there is a little girl in my room named Summer who is in need of glasses. This will help her out until she is able to get a new pair of glasses. The alphabet stamps will be used to help them make words and sentences. And of course, the pencil sharpener will replace the hand be down one that we were given at the beginning of the school year by another colleague. We would sincerely be thankful for your help!
