My students come from a variety of home backgrounds, some not so great. Some students do not know if they will have a meal at home or clean clothes, the school provides my students with stability and safety. My classroom consists of myself, a para-educator, and my 12 students. They receive speech, occupational and counseling services on a daily basis. I work with a team of teachers to provide a balanced curriculum for our grade of students. We work together to plan, implement and reflect on our teaching for our students' success. Our classroom technology consists of a Smartboard. Students have access to a computer lab.
