I am determined to make my classroom a place that is welcoming and comfortable for my students to visit each day. Currently, my room just has tables and hard, plastic chairs and no real place for students to get comfortable while reading. Your generosity will help me create a comfortable classroom environment that students will feel excited to be a part of. Getting them excited about coming to class is the first step in helping them progress in reading and building their confidence that will translate to all other subjects. I chose the floor cushions, pillows, and seating stools so students can sit anywhere in the room to read, write, and learn.
