At our school, we are reimagining our outdoor spaces for recreation and for learning. In the courtyard outside the library, we are planning a Story Walk, an activity that has become popular with public libraries and schools across the country. Laminated pages of a children's book are attached to wooden stakes and installed along a path. The signs and books provided by your donation will make this happen. A Story Walk promotes early literacy, physical activity, and a sense of community. Students will read a story and talk about it with friends and teachers while outside in the fresh air.
