Flexible seating has many benefits for students who might have a hard time sitting in a traditional classroom. Many times sitting at a desk and chair is not the best environment for students. It is hard to keep the students attention and expect them to produce their work. Flexible seating will give the students the opportunity to choose to do their assignments on a balance ball, a wobble chair, or maybe just sitting on the carpet with a pillow. They can make the choice to choose a seat that best suits their learning needs and style. This will allow the students to stay more focused and engaged in their learning. If my project is funded my students would have these seating options throughout the day. This will create a comfortable, positive learning environment where all students can do their best.
