Due to the extreme gap in grade level and reading ability throughout the school, I struggle to find books that not only interest our students but are also appropriate for their various reading levels. This is challenging, but it is particularly difficult when students in seventh grade read at a second-grade level. The students refuse to read "baby" books (as they call them). So, we don't have a lot to choose from.
