In our class, students practice independence and responsibility daily. One way they do this is though student-led literacy stations where they have the chance to take ownership of their own learning and practice their literacy skills at their own pace. Having access to Chrome Books would allow students to read a wider variety of literature in a medium that can accommodate their various reading abilities and support their needs. Students will use these Chrome Books daily as a means of research, collaboration and skills practice to be successful on required state testing and later in the 21st century work force.
