Listening to literature and informational text is an important part of our kindergarten day. Each day students go to small group centers where they listen to literature read a loud to them through tapes, CD's and iPad programs. The opportunity to hear the spoken word builds reading and listening skills critical to their education. The CD player will allow my students to access and listen to books on tape and CD's. The bear headphones will be used on the classroom iPads where students work on reading, phonics and math programs to improve specific skills. The other headphones will be used in conjunction with the CD player at the listening center. By donating to my project you will provide students with quality equipment that allows them to work and learn without distraction
