We all know that technology is everywhere. It is almost every part of our everyday culture. It affects how we live, work, play, and most importantly learn. I am a second-year teacher at A. Elementary, one of HISD’s Title 1 schools. I am requesting books for our classroom library to support reading literacy for my disadvantage students. My students will use books as learning tools to read while standing in line during lunch, restroom breaks, and after school pick up. Despite the bleak outlook for my students, you can do a great deal to make their education meaningful for them. Your donation will not only help them, but it will also help future students.
