With students that struggle with so much outside of the classroom, I want to build a team atmosphere in the classroom, while challenging students to become problem-solvers and critical thinkers. The activities that we can take part in using these STEM kits will help students learn to work together to solve problems, build math skills, and increase our love for learning. Your generous donation to our project will help to build a strong cohesive learning team within our classroom, with social skills and problem-solving skills that will carry throughout the building and the lives of our students. Students will be able to work together while building a love for math and science. The critical thinking skills needed to solve many real-world problems is a struggle for so many of our students. Using these tools, we can help build reasoning and critical-thinking skills that students need throughout school and beyond. Having students work together to build, create, and complete these math and STEAM activities will help them see that they can be a part of an amazing team. This will lead to improvements in behavior, critical thinking skills, and even reading!
