In my classroom we are a family. I am my students "school mom" and they are my "kids". Not only am I their teacher, I am their nurse, counselor, and biggest advocate. My students know that I care about them and their growth as individuals. I hold each of my students to high expectations and they strive to reach these as well as the goals that they set for themselves. Collaboration is key to success in my classroom. It is imperative that our students work together to achieve a common goal. My students are risk takers, collaborators, good citizens, thinkers, and tomorrow's leaders!
