This year we are focusing on students individual needs and learning styles. By using flexible seating, students are able to identify the learning style that best fits them and then actively engage themselves in their work. These wobble chairs, balance balls, and bean bag seats will not teach my students, however they will allow my students to focus and engage themselves with the materials being taught. The donations for my project will improve my classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues, because I will be able to accommodate and promote student engagement. With less behavioral issues, we can increase our learning and time on task. I'm looking forward to seeing my students happier and ready to learn.
