Our students earned almost $1000 in new books for our classroom. They love reading and enjoy having a variety of genres to select from when choosing their books However, we are in a low-income district and are unable to buy many books. These new books will bring many smiles to students and add to their excitement when they see how the new books on display for their enjoyment. However, we have nowhere to store these new books. Without proper storage, we won't be able to keep the books in good condition for future students to love and enjoy. With storage and binders to keep the books in pristine shape and organized, students of today and tomorrow will be able to learn from and enjoy the books for many years to come. Our students learn to love reading throughout the school year. When they learn to love reading, they take pride in their books. Having good organization and storage for their books will allow them to pass them along to others so that they can share the books with their friends, other students, and even younger siblings who enter this grade long after they have moved on.
