During the 7th grade year, there is a big emphasis on cells in the standards. While I could teach the standards without a microscope through videos, pictures, etc. I believe that giving our scholars access to real scientific equipment like microscopes is going to help them to truly understand the concept. By choosing to donate to this project, you are giving 63 scholars the chance to really explore the scientific process hands on. My scholars and myself will be extremely thankful for this donation. It will allow scholars to really feel like scientists and will encourage interest into the science and medical fields that they may not have other wise.
