The students will be conducting research projects by having access to online research. They will be conducting science and social studies research projects, meeting the Common Core Standards. It gives the students access to the online resources available to our district, including speech to text tools, leveled readers and the ability to share their projects with other students and teachers. It will help present the 21st century technology skills to present and collaborate with each other; to show what they have learned through multimedia experiences, such as power points and videos. When you use iPads/technology in conjunction with text, it is significantly more engaging for students. This takes away the stress level of making things perfect and can download pictures to enhance their own work.
