Flexible seating is used to accentuate student's learning abilities... and support independence in our classroom. Our goal with the flexible seating options is to allow students to take ownership of their classroom community and shift the focus to be 100% student focused. Stools, bean bags, wobble seats, carpet squares, and balance chairs will give our room a variety of seating options on a daily basis. With flexible seating, students feel empowered with the choice and control over their environment. We want our classroom environment to support collaboration and small group learning, and flexible seating is a great place to aid in our academic (and physical) success!
