In teaching history, it is imperative that my students know and understand; content vocabulary terms, primary and secondary source documents, maps, graphs, charts, etc. In order to analyze these components during each unit of study, having available resources for their use can be challenging. Adequate materials and resources are limited for entire classes and small groups. In order to support my students in their learning I print these materials each year for students to utilize in small groups, stations activities, blended learning tasks, on word walls, and for classroom timelines. Having the ability to use a laminating machine will allow me to use these resources year-to-year, while also providing my students to use these materials with dry erase markers, while maintaining the documents structure.
