Learning is often the most impactful and sustainable when facilitated in a meaningful way. For this reason, I am so excited to implement four new ELA units that will do just that! Through authentic research, students will not only work towards meeting standards but will also begin to realize the power of reading and writing. The four ELA units will integrate both social studies and science topics. These units of study will involve group discussions and reading multiple text formats for research, some of which will hopefully be funded through this project! Throughout the units, we will also draft and refine essays based on our findings and personal opinions.
