KINDER CITY is our kindergarten classroom where we come together as a community of learners and kind neighbors. Each learning center focuses on a location in our city. For example: Newspaper Office (writing), Kinder City Cafe (dramatic play), The Daily News (calendar board), Lumber Yard (block building and design), Conference Center (teacher table), Science Lab (exploration table) and STARBOOKS (read and relax area). Throughout the year, we incorporate a Weather Station, Paleontologist Dig Sight, and a Museum to display their hard work. In our neighborhood, we have high expectations for treating others with respect, building character qualities, and working as a team to set goals and achieve them. Understanding that we live in a diverse community, we incorporate activities and skills that encourage growth, change, and positive forward thinking. Everyone learns and grows in our KINDER CITY community!
