We are requesting wiggle seats and stools to focus in their groups and for free choice as a positive reward to engage in learning. My students would use these seats in teacher groups and for free choice activity time. They would help them get their wiggles out while still focusing on their learning and activities. These seats would always be used and be one of many options for flexible seating. Kindergartners are experiencing school for the first time and often need lots of activity. These seats provide that for my students so that their attention can be geared toward their learning. I have seen these seats work for all types of learners and they would be a asset in my classroom for each of my students.
