With the new ISTE standards and the growing need for understanding technology in the real world, I believe that it is important for my students to have easy access to technology in the classroom. By having Chromebooks that will live in our classroom, my students will be able to use programs like Google Classroom, Spelling City, math games, and typing practice. In addition, we will be able to easily share learning resources and full class notes that will help to grow and develop healthy study habits that will stick with my students through their college careers. Also, with these Chromebooks, I will be able to develop learning centers that incorporate multiple programs and resources giving my students multiple means of learning while keeping their interests high and engaged.
