Our school has currently undergone renovations and we will be merging with our primary school. While this will be an exciting change for the students, it also brings about some possible constrictions with equipment and supplies as we will now be sharing with grade levels K-6. Chromebooks and other technology are one such area. Children love to be actively engaged in learning through technology. Learning is authentic when students are able to use digital programs for real life application. Educational games can be used to reinforce skills and are much more interesting and engaging for students. Struggling readers are able to listen to novels on tape. The uses for Chromebooks are endless. Another area is comfortable, flexible seating for active bodies. New rooms bring new excitement as well as the need for new equipment for all around success!
