As a Title I school, Happy Valley serves a population which includes a significant percentage of families with limited financial means. Many of our students qualify for free or reduced cost meals. Additionally, Happy Valley has very limited budgets especially for elective classes. As fas as my classroom and students goes... I have exceptional students who enjoy learning about art, creating art, and expressing themselves through their art. The classroom environment is conducive to all levels of learning and is a fun and supportive place for students of all high school grade levels. You don't have to be good at art to learn to appreciate it. Additionally, I teach that art is not about the end result but about the process and journey you took to get there. We focus our attentions to rendering our creativity.
