My students need four iPad Minis to become ALL STAR Learners! Within my class of 18 students there is so much diversity- ethnically, culturally, family socioeconomic status, as well as academically. At my Title I school, there is limited access to computers, especially computers for the classroom. One way to help close the academic gap is to differentiate instruction, which can be done through the many apps and programs available on computers. My low income students who have limited access to computers at home and at school will use these iPad Minis to practice individual reading and math skills daily in the classroom. One way my students will use these iPad Minis is during Center Time, where they can practice individual skills in reading and math with differentiated instruction. These iPad Minis will also give my students an opportunity to increase their technology skills in and out of the classroom.
